My experience teaching design at both the undergraduate and graduate level informed the core of my approach to my professional design and curatorial practice as well as my approach to organizational administration, understanding learning as a life-long endeavor and the realization of complex projects and programs as necessarily collaborative. At the same time, there is an unwavering belief in the need for an individually articulated practice by helping students locate their own unique position, draw from their own subjective experiences, situate themselves in the historical moment, and to understand and navigate the complex contexts in which design operates.
